About our box canvas prints
Quality is very important to us as Poparted. We only use the best materials, printers and inks for our portrait designs.
Our box mounted canvas prints are hand-stretched over a professionally made high quality chunky anti-warping 3.5 cm deep stretcher frames; They are kiln dried and knot free for extra strength.
Our wedges are made from the same high quality materials as our stretcher frames and are an essential part of any canvas; Not only do they help the strength of the canvas, giving it additional tension, they also remove the risk of sagging. They can also be used to re-tension the print if necessary.
We use premium quality Canon inks which have been tested to provide minimum 75 years protection against fading.
The canvas is 100% cotton archival quality which is further protected with a finish of two coats of a satin spray UV varnish for extra protection and to intensify the colours.
The edges of the print are primarily left white, however we can extend the image around the side of the frame, this method is called 'Gallery Wrap'.
Box canvas prints come and supplied with attached wall fixing and is ready to hang on your wall.
At Poparted we use only the finest Canon professional printing equipment for canvases.
We use a a 12-colour LUCIA pigment ink system which sets the standard in high quality, creating a wider and more accurate range of reproduction for photos and artwork which is light fast for up to 75 years.
